Experience a professionally moderated tour “from the grape vine to Wine and Sekt” in a winery rich in tradition – Fitz-Ritter in Bad Dürkheim.
Moderated tours and tastings are offered in German or English by appointment for groups up to 120 persons.
For groups of fewer than 12 persons we charge the equivalent of 12 persons.

Welcome in the award winning estate garden „Most Beautiful Garden on the German Wine Road“ with ancient and exotic trees.

Visit our house vineyard, the Rittergarten, where we'll explain the most important aspects of organic wine making.

At the wine press in the monument-protected courtyard, we'll illustrate how quality mearsures are optimized while gently pressing our grapes.

We present our brand new, state-of-the-art wine cellar where we explain the vinification process.

After time travelling through our historic sand-stone cellars a glass of sparkling Sekt is served. We tell the story of the oldest Sekt producing cellars in Rheinland-Pfalz.

Following the tour we enter our historic tasting rooms for a wine tasting.

By prior arrangement, we offer varieties of alsatian style Flammkuchen (Tarte flambée) for 8,50 € a piece during the tasting.
A wide selection of restaurants are located in walking distance from the winery for which we are glad to offer suggestions. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a caterer to serve the meal of your choice at the winery. In this case there is a surcharge (150€ /h) for renting our rooms
Our wine tastings are possible outside the normal open hours, by appointment. In that case, please note that we will close shortly after the tasting.
