Wine and time travel - The Fitz Ritter winery and the Dürkheimer   writer Britta Habekost invite you to a dark and comforting journey through time to Paris   of the 1920s. On April 14, the author will read  reading voice from her newly released detective novel City of Murderers with the captivating  reading voice. The novel will transport the listener into the atmospheric   mysterious world of old Paris. And since literature and wine cannot leave each other  , there is a very special  wine accompaniment this evening.

Johann Fitz has chosen the man   as co-sommelier for this evening, who normally

sitting on stage with Britta Habekost - the  cabaret artist Christian "Chako" Habekost.

An extraordinary evening awaits you   between Parisian nostalgia, crime thrillers, literary craziness and the dark,   deep wines of the Fitz-Ritter house.

Paris  in December 1924: It is a bitterly cold morning when the body of   sixteen-year-old Clément Faucogney is discovered on the Place du Panthéon. The   sight of the disfigured body is almost too much to bear even for investigator Julien Vioric - and he narrowly escaped the trenches of Flanders. The  evidence leads Vioric to the Passage de l'Opéra, to a young woman who   has put herself in great danger in search of her sister. But she still doesn't know anything about it. She has already fallen to the charms of the Parisian poets and the beguiling beauty of the city. Not realizing that she is the key to everything.
